As part of a residential scheme in North London, we were tasked at integrating a series of cycle shelters into a narrow landscape space. The area is bounded on one elevation by a run-down concrete panel wall that was screened with a contemporary horizontal panel screen.
Lighting at the entrances and inside makes to shelters usable at night and each shelter is surrounded with trees and shrubs to soften the impact. A gravel path connects each shelter and landing areas at each entrance allow ease of transition into and out.
